America, please don't let me down. There is too much at stake for the country and the world. The Republicans need to lose resoundingly, crushingly, humiliatingly. After 8 years of mismanagement let's hold them accountable. A word we haven't seen much of lately.

Robert Woerheide founded Pict Grooving on October 24, 2006. Robert's poetry and fiction have appeared in various literary magazines including Triplopia, Coe Review, Miranda, and the premiere issue of Cadillac Cicatrix. His collection of short stories,Traveling Sitting Still, is being published by iUniverse and will be available in early 2007. Robert worked in the San Diego journalistic community, and is the managing editor of Perigee.
Lawrence Lawson is a poet and writer currently serving in the Peace Corps in Ukraine. His writing has appeared in numerous editions of Perigee and in 2006 he was nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
